Peggy Lichtenthal, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Lichtenthal, a Buffalo native, founded Ken-Ton Hearing over 30 years ago. Prior to becoming an Audiologist, Dr. Lichtenthal worked as a Registered Nurse at the Buffalo V.A. Medical Center. Her nursing degree is from Niagara University. She received her Master’s Degree in Audiology at SUNY–Buffalo, and her Doctoral Degree from the Arizona School of Health Related Professions. When not at the helm of Ken-Ton, Dr. Peg is an avid golfer and motorcycle enthusiast.
Susanne Krause, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Krause has been in practice in the Buffalo area for the past 15 years. She received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from SUNY–Buffalo, and her Doctoral Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology. Dr. Krause taught coursework in the area of Balance and Dizziness at the University at Buffalo. She also worked with the Ear, Nose, & Throat physicians of Buffalo Medical Group for over ten years before joining Ken-ton Hearing. Dr. Sue keeps busy with her two daughters and her husband at their home in the Southtowns.
Christine Pleban, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Christine Pleban practiced in the Syracuse area before joining Ken-Ton Hearing in August 2009. She received her Doctoral Degree in Audiology from SUNY–Buffalo. Dr. Chrissy has worked as an Educational Audiologist promoting advocacy for young individuals who are hearing impaired and their families. Dr. Chrissy and her husband are busy remodeling their home and playing with their new baby boy, Benjamin.
